If you need dimensions not specifically listed here, then please DO NOT ORDER, call or email us for a custom quote firstname.lastname@example.org . We can work to create the perfect corbels with your design and sizes.
Please understand that in the era when these were cut, either by hand or by saw, the beams are not always exactly square so there may be some ratio variance between the side and face dimensions (e.g. 7" wide face x 8" depth, etc.). Dimensions are nominal. If you need 'exact' dimensions, you will need to order Resawn corbels since we are not limited to retaining the original face sides (reducing the width of an existing piece of material means removing the original face sides).
Material is provided cleaned with nylon brush, but without additional finish or sealant. Each piece of wood is unique from the next. Images are for reference only, expect variation.
The BACK FACE and FRONT FACE are BAND SAW CUT and is a clean cut surface. Only the side faces are original face.
- Back Face is the face that faces the wall, the back of the corbel
- Front Face is the face that faces the room, the front of the corbel
- Height is the longest vertical dimension between the bottom and top of the corbel when viewed on the wall
- Width is the horizontal dimension from left side to right side when viewed on the wall
- Depth is the largest depth dimension from the front face back to the wall when viewed on the wall
Reclaimed barnwood has inherent cracks, checks, chips, knots, remnants of insects infestation, nail and mortise holes, etc., expect yours to have all of this desired character. All of our material is kiln dried and fumigated
Given the nature of how precious the material resources are that we use--reclaimed, one of a kind barn wood--once work begins and cuts are made on material for your order we cannot offer refunds. **NO REFUNDS ON CUSTOM WORK OR WORK REQUIRING THE CUTTING OF ANY MATERIAL**
The Vintage Wood Floor Company is not a retailer or an importer. We are a manufacturer. Which means we produce our own products; managing the entire process from reclamation to delivery. Everything we offer is created under the watchful eye of our owner and Head Craftsman, who proudly trains each craftsman on our team. While we offer many products, we have only one standard – excellence. Our core business is custom work, making your visions come to life so if you have a project that requires an authentic touch let us show you what we can do.
~ Alternative to a Solid Mantel Beam ~
Box Beam Mantels
Have you considered a custom box beam for your fireplace mantel? It's an ideal solution to uniquely configured spaces when the dimensions have to be highly accurate. Rather than taking a solid beam and trying to make it work with a difficult application, it can be far more effective to build the box beam TO the application.
The demand for our new and reclaimed barn wood box beams has caused us to split box beams off into a division of its own.
Now, you can visit our BoxBeamCollection.com website, configure your box beams down to the inch of accuracy, get an instant price including shipping, and place your order. Never before has this functionality been possible, and now you can order and be on your way.
